We’re looking for a Senior Commercial Counsel to join our Paris team on a 9-month fixed-term contract. This is a hybrid role, based in Paris. In this role, you’ll support Deliveroo and Wolt businesses in France, the Benelux and the Baltics, partnering closely with business stakeholders to solve complex legal and commercial challenges.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You’ll be joining a team within International Legal and will report to the Senior Director - Associate General Counsel - Western Europe and Middle East, who leads this team. Operating as part of a senior team, you will act as a trusted strategic advisor to our key stakeholders. This role covers a broad remit spanning commercial contracts, regulatory compliance and commercial advisory work.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

- Drive Commercial Negotiations: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of high-value commercial agreements across multiple international markets (agreements with merchants or vendors).

- Strategic Business Partnering: Conduct legal risk assessments and advise internal teams (Operations, Marketing, Commercial, Finance, Product) to help them navigate complex legal landscapes and achieve business priorities at pace.

- Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Monitor regulatory developments across in-scope countries and where relevant support the rollout of compliance programs.
