Senior Counsel, Commercial Law – Partnerships
Atlas HXM is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Law – Partnerships to join its Legal & Compliance team. This leadership role focuses on structuring and negotiating complex, high-value commercial agreements that support the company's Employer of Record (EOR) services across over 160 countries. The position involves close collaboration with teams in Sales, Partnerships, Operations, and Finance to drive business growth while ensuring global compliance.
The Senior Counsel will lead negotiations for partner agreements, including EOR service agreements, reseller and white-label arrangements, and global enterprise deals. Responsibilities include drafting and refining various commercial documents, assessing legal and regulatory risks, and providing strategic advice to senior executives on partner expansion and deal strategies. The role also entails mentoring team members and leading projects that advance the company's commercial objectives.
Candidates should possess a J.D. from an accredited law school and active admission to at least one U.S. state bar. A minimum of 8 years of legal experience is required, with at least 4 years in-house at a global organization, preferably within EOR, HR technology, SaaS, PEO, or professional services sectors. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex commercial transactions, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to provide clear, actionable business advice.
