Senior Counsel, Commercial

Zipline is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial to join its legal team. This role involves providing strategic legal guidance on commercial transactions and partnerships, supporting Zipline's mission to revolutionize delivery services through autonomous drone technology. The Senior Counsel will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to navigate complex legal landscapes and drive business objectives.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, such as vendor contracts, service agreements, and partnership deals. The role also involves advising on regulatory compliance, risk management, and intellectual property matters. Additionally, the Senior Counsel will develop and implement legal policies and procedures to support the company's growth and innovation.

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be a member in good standing of a state bar. A minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial law, preferably within the technology or aviation sectors, is required. Strong negotiation skills, excellent judgment, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment are essential.
