Senior Counsel, Privacy & AI Governance

Applied Intuition is seeking a Senior Counsel specializing in Privacy and AI Governance to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate legal frameworks into innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities include advising on global privacy and AI compliance matters, particularly focusing on laws such as GDPR and CCPA. The Senior Counsel will work with cross-functional teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into product development, conduct privacy impact assessments, and manage data protection agreements. Additionally, the role involves monitoring regulatory developments and translating them into actionable guidance for the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and be an active member of a state bar. A minimum of 8 years of experience in privacy law and data protection, with a strong background in technology companies, is required. Expertise in global privacy frameworks and emerging AI regulations is essential, along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
