Senior Data Analyst
Array is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join our remote-first team, focusing on enhancing our suite of financial tools that empower consumers to achieve their financial goals. This role involves collaborating with engineering and product teams to address complex challenges and improve our data-driven products.
Key responsibilities include tracing issues through data pipelines or code to identify and resolve unexpected behaviors, writing clear and concise documentation of findings and solutions, partnering with engineers and product managers to enhance data and code reliability, and fostering a culture of technical curiosity and continuous improvement. Additionally, leveraging AI tools to accelerate development processes is a crucial aspect of this role.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong curiosity about system operations, with a knack for deconstructing and understanding underlying mechanisms. Proficiency in SQL, familiarity with Python, and experience analyzing JSONs, logs, or API outputs are essential. Comfort with reading and interpreting existing code, the ability to translate ambiguous problems into actionable steps, and a commitment to continuous improvement are also key qualifications. Analytical skills to develop data-driven insights that enhance user experience and drive conversion rates are highly valued.
Compensation for this role includes a $300 daily rate for a paid interview, followed by an $80 per hour rate during a 180-day contract period. Upon conversion to full-time employment, benefits include full medical, dental, and vision coverage, unlimited PTO and sick leave, a 401k match up to 4% with immediate vesting, generous parental leave, a $1,000 desk setup subsidy, and monthly stipends for wifi and cell phone expenses.
