Senior Data Engineer

CertifID is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development of systems that transform raw data into actionable insights. This role involves close collaboration with Product, Finance, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure the data platform scales effectively and supports informed decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining scalable data models for reporting and analytics, developing robust ELT pipelines, and unifying analytics tools to replace legacy reporting systems. The Senior Data Engineer will also apply data modeling and warehousing principles to create well-documented, analytics-optimized tables and proactively identify opportunities to enhance reporting and data reliability.

The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence. Strong SQL skills, hands-on experience with data modeling for analytics, and proficiency in building and maintaining production data pipelines in cloud environments are essential. Familiarity with self-service BI tools and a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts are also required.
