Senior Data Scientist, Product

Mozilla is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Firefox Data Science team, focusing on enhancing the user experience of our flagship product, the Firefox web browser. This role involves collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to drive user growth and inform strategic decisions through data-driven insights.

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for defining key performance metrics, developing measurement strategies, and conducting in-depth analyses to guide feature development. This includes designing and analyzing experiments to assess feature impact, understanding user behavior, and contributing to statistical forecasting models to inform growth strategies.

Candidates should have over six years of experience in data science or analytics, with a proven track record of influencing business decisions through data. Proficiency in SQL and Python is essential, along with experience in A/B testing, causal inference, and statistical modeling techniques. Strong communication skills are required to effectively convey insights to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
