Senior DevOps Engineer
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Riskified, you will be an integral part of our high-impact R&D team, responsible for managing the infrastructure that underpins our real-time decision-making processes. In this role, you will design, build, and manage our development and production cloud-native infrastructure on AWS. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include establishing and evolving standards for microservices, building and maintaining our product release workflow and continuous integration/delivery systems, and continuously improving our system's visibility through advanced monitoring and analytics. Additionally, you will implement and automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation to ensure the robustness of our platform.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or DevOps Engineer, with deep expertise in cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and strong Infrastructure as Code skills. Proficiency in Kubernetes in production environments, familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd, and experience with provisioning tools such as Karpenter are essential. A solid background in modern monitoring and log analytics, along with programming experience in languages like Go or Node.js, will be advantageous. The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently is also crucial for success in this role.
