Senior DevSecOps / Platform Security Engineer (AWS + Kubernetes)

Red Cell Partners is seeking a Senior DevSecOps/Platform Security Engineer to enhance and manage security controls across our AWS and Kubernetes platforms. This role involves designing and implementing automated security measures to ensure secure software delivery, while collaborating closely with Platform/SRE and Security/GRC teams.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD security automation, enforcing Kubernetes policies, and implementing software supply chain controls. The engineer will also co-own AWS security guardrails, partner with Security/GRC on control interpretation, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Security Engineering, with a strong focus on automation and delivery. Required skills include hands-on experience securing AWS environments, strong Kubernetes security expertise, proficiency in integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, and proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Scripting skills in languages such as Python, Go, or Bash are also essential.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $215,000, comprehensive health insurance fully paid by the employer, unlimited PTO with managerial approval, a flexible work environment, and 14 weeks of fully-paid parental leave.
