The Senior Director and Senior Counsel, Head of Global Labor and Employment at GoDaddy is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the company's global labor law function. Key responsibilities include leading and coordinating all global workforce legal issues related to employee relations and labor matters across GoDaddy's corporate and international operations. The individual will build, develop, and inspire a distributed team of employment attorneys, fostering alignment, accountability, and high performance. Serving as a trusted advisor to the C-suite and executive leadership, the role involves handling complex and sensitive matters such as executive-level issues, internal investigations, reorganizations, and reductions in force. Additionally, the position entails developing and implementing global employment policies, practices, and governance frameworks that align with local laws and company objectives.

The ideal candidate will possess a J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one state, with 15 or more years of employment law experience, including significant in-house experience supporting a global organization. Deep expertise in U.S. and international employment law is essential, with demonstrated experience managing matters across multiple jurisdictions, including familiarity with works councils or similar labor structures. Proven leadership and executive partnership skills are required, along with strong experience navigating high-stakes employment issues and partnering with litigation teams and outside counsel on employment disputes.
