Senior Director, Wireless Infrastructure & Business Development
Public Storage is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Wireless Infrastructure & Business Development to lead the strategic development and execution of our wireless infrastructure business across over 3,200 locations nationwide. This role involves managing 700+ existing cell leases generating $27 million in annual revenue. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary liaison between Public Storage and major wireless carriers, driving new business development while maximizing revenue from our existing cellular infrastructure assets.
Key responsibilities include cultivating and maintaining strategic relationships with top-tier wireless carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and DISH Wireless on both national and regional levels. The role also involves proactively marketing Public Storage properties to carriers and tower operators to maximize leasing opportunities, identifying and pursuing new build opportunities, and leveraging existing carrier relationships to expand awareness of the Public Storage portfolio as premier wireless infrastructure sites.
The position requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in the telecommunications or cellular industry, with a proven track record managing large-scale wireless lease portfolios. Established relationships with major wireless providers and tower companies are preferred. The candidate should possess expert-level negotiation skills, strong business development acumen, and excellent written and verbal communication skills across all organizational levels. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
Public Storage offers a competitive compensation package, including a base pay range of $90,000 to $225,000, with potential for additional discretionary bonuses or incentives.
