Senior Enterprise Account Executive, UKI
The Senior Enterprise Account Executive, UKI, will report to the VP of Sales, EMEA, and be responsible for managing the United Kingdom and Ireland territory. This role involves collaborating with Sales Engineers and Sales Development Representatives to understand customer needs and assist organizations in securing their internet-facing assets. Censys is dedicated to providing real-time internet intelligence and actionable threat insights to global governments, Fortune 500 companies, and leading threat intelligence providers worldwide.
Key responsibilities include owning and expanding the UKI territory by driving new business and growing existing accounts. The role requires developing and executing strategic territory plans to exceed revenue targets, becoming a trusted expert on Censys' platform, and articulating the value of internet intelligence capabilities. The executive will close large, complex deals involving multiple executive-level stakeholders, consistently exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue goals, and build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. Collaboration with Sales Engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver value-based solutions and providing market feedback to influence product and go-to-market strategy are also essential.
Candidates should have over 10 years of software sales experience, with at least 5 years in cybersecurity, and a proven track record in the UKI market, including closing enterprise-level deals. Experience with emerging technologies or high-growth startup environments, consistent achievement of approximately £1M+ annual quota, and strong skills in managing complex sales cycles using solution-selling methodologies are required. The role also demands the ability to build pipeline through outbound and partner/channel motions, willingness to travel across the UK and Ireland, strong virtual selling skills, proficiency with CRM tools like Salesforce, and the ability to run a disciplined, strategic sales process.
The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is £220,000 – £260,000 GBP (or €270,000 – €300,000 EUR for Ireland-based candidates), comprising a base salary and variable commission component, typically split 50/50. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on experience, skills, market benchmarks, and geographic location.
