Senior Financial Analyst

Strongpoint Partners is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team in Chicago, IL. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this role focuses on financial reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis across various partner teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and embraces a collaborative work style.

Key responsibilities include preparing monthly financial reporting packages, maintaining and enhancing monthly financial forecasts, assisting with the annual budgeting process, performing ad hoc financial analyses, partnering with the Accounting team to improve financial reporting processes, consolidating and analyzing key financial and operational KPIs, and leveraging technology to improve reporting and forecasting workflows.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or a related finance role, advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience supporting or building a corporate budgeting process, strong variance analysis and financial commentary skills, and strong communication skills to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting is required. Experience with Vena or similar FP&A software and Sage Intacct is preferred.
