Senior Frontend Engineer - Contract
Roofr is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join their dynamic team in a contract role. As a rapidly growing startup, Roofr specializes in providing a comprehensive CRM platform tailored for the roofing industry, integrating essential sales tools, payments, and material ordering into a seamless solution. This position offers the opportunity to significantly influence both the technical implementation and the strategic direction of Roofr's technology roadmap.
In this role, you will be responsible for advancing the frontend architecture of Roofr's systems, collaborating within a fast-paced, cross-functional team that emphasizes best practices. Your contributions will span the entire Software Development Lifecycle, from planning to delivery, including writing clean, functional code for web applications and reusable libraries. Additionally, you will develop and maintain unit, functional, and acceptance tests, and provide support for production applications.
Ideal candidates will have over five years of software development experience, with at least three years in a senior engineering role. Proficiency in JavaScript, React, and Redux is essential, along with experience in SCSS and interacting with RESTful APIs. A strong advocate for agile methodologies, you should be comfortable shipping code frequently and confidently. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are crucial, as is the ability to take ownership of product quality and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices.
