Senior Frontend Engineer, Core Experiences
Box is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Core Experiences team, focusing on enhancing our web-based content management platform. As a leader in Intelligent Content Management, Box enables organizations to collaborate, manage content lifecycles, and transform workflows with enterprise AI. This role offers the opportunity to drive the evolution of our React architecture, delivering faster, more reliable, and delightful user experiences in an AI-driven environment.
In this position, you will lead the development of React-based features for core web experiences, particularly improving the preview experience and other critical user flows. Responsibilities include driving the evolution of our frontend architecture towards modern, scalable design systems with a focus on performance and accessibility. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Designers to translate customer requests into clear requirements and iterative roadmaps, owning complex projects from design to launch, including testing, instrumentation, and rollouts.
The ideal candidate has over 5 years of professional experience building production web applications, with a strong product mindset and experience partnering with Product Management and Design teams to ship customer-impacting features. You should have a proven track record of evolving frontend architectures and adopting modern design systems at scale. Proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript is essential, along with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science.
Box offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $198,500 to $248,000 USD, along with equity and comprehensive benefits. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices, with actual base salary dependent upon factors such as knowledge, skill level, experience, and work location.
