Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Email Systems
As a Senior Full-Stack Engineer, Email Systems at MZLA Technologies Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in developing a new suite of communication tools, including end-to-end encrypted file sharing, an email service, and an appointment booking service. In this role, you will be responsible for building and prototyping new features to address complex technical challenges, developing and maintaining metrics to monitor email delivery rates and sender reputation, and diagnosing service-level issues. You will also monitor email industry standards and emerging threats, proposing improvements to enhance delivery, reputation, and spam resilience. Additionally, you will develop, test, and evolve code architecture to ensure scalability and robustness, conduct code reviews, and contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of professional software development experience, including 2 years in a senior role, with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and Python 3. Experience in building and maintaining email services and web applications is essential. A strong ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, translate design direction into production-ready visual experiences, and manage web infrastructure on AWS or similar cloud providers is also required. Excellent English communication skills and a commitment to building secure, privacy-respecting technology aligned with MZLA's values are crucial.
MZLA offers a competitive salary, with ranges depending on location: $125,000 - $144,000 USD for the US, $108,000 - $125,000 CAD for Canada, and £62,000 - £72,000 GBP for the UK.
