Senior Infra Engineer/ SRE (Perp DEX)

Hyphen Connect is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer/Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to architect and manage the backbone of a global decentralized exchange (DEX) platform. This role involves bridging complex blockchain environments with high-availability cloud infrastructure, ensuring the platform's reliability, performance, and security. Reporting to the Director of Engineering, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in a lean, high-velocity engineering culture.

Key responsibilities include designing, optimizing, and managing multi-region Kubernetes clusters and core platform services to support massive scale. The role also involves leading the site reliability strategy from initial design through deployment, ensuring the platform remains robust and secure against global demands. Additionally, the engineer will act as a subject matter expert for the broader software engineering team, instilling best practices and evolving internal development processes.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Site Reliability Engineering within complex, multi-datacenter environments where uptime and performance are mission-critical. Expert-level proficiency in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Docker is required, along with a strong software engineering foundation. A deep understanding of securing sophisticated cloud network architectures and protecting sensitive financial data is essential. Proven experience with low-latency systems, multi-cloud strategy, and the HashiCorp stack (Vault, Consul, etc.) is also necessary.
