Senior Lead Labour Lawyer, Italy & International Scope
The Senior Lead Labour Lawyer for Italy & International Scope at Delivery Hero will be a pivotal member of the legal team, focusing on platform work regulations and employment law matters. This role involves overseeing courier classification risks and managing high-profile litigations and regulatory investigations, particularly in Italy and other markets. The position requires close collaboration with Product, Tech, and Operations teams to develop and refine delivery applications, ensuring compliance with evolving legal standards.
Key responsibilities include monitoring legislative developments affecting platform work, advising on gig-economy related issues, and serving as a subject matter expert within the organization. The role also involves partnering with Public Policy teams to navigate the complex legal landscape of the gig economy. Occasional international travel may be required, not exceeding 10% of the annual working time.
Candidates should possess at least six years of experience in employment law, combining expertise from reputable law firms and in-house roles within tech companies. A solid understanding of legal areas adjacent to employment law, such as social security regulations, tax, data protection, immigration, and commercial contracts, is essential. Fluency in both Italian and English, with strong communication skills, is required.
