Senior Legal Transformation Manager
The Senior Legal Transformation Manager at Gilbert + Tobin will lead the design and implementation of strategic legal transformation initiatives, focusing on integrating Generative AI technologies to enhance legal service delivery. This role is part of the G+T Innovate team, recognized for its leadership in legal innovation and technology advisory services. Gilbert + Tobin is a prominent law firm with over 500 lawyers, committed to excellence, trust, and innovation in navigating complex legal landscapes.
Key responsibilities include planning and embedding legal technology solutions, particularly Generative AI, to improve service delivery; serving as product owner for key legal technology products; contributing to the firm's broader transformation strategy; designing and delivering training programs on legal technology and innovation; analyzing data to track adoption and measure impact; ensuring responsible use of legal technology through governance and quality standards; leading bespoke transformation initiatives for clients; managing relationships with technology vendors; assessing and applying emerging legal technologies; and managing members of the Legal Transformation team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in delivering legal transformation initiatives, with a strong track record in both internal and client-facing programs. Deep expertise in innovation, legal operations, or consulting within a law firm or professional services environment is essential. Strong leadership skills, the ability to manage cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to staying abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies are also required.
