The Senior Manager, Privacy Operations at Corcept Therapeutics is responsible for implementing and enhancing the company's global privacy program. This role involves translating legal and regulatory privacy requirements into practical, scalable, and auditable operational processes across the organization. The position reports to the Senior Director, Legal & Privacy and requires close collaboration with various departments, including IT, HR, Clinical, Commercial, Drug Safety, and Quality functions.

Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining privacy policies, guidelines, and work instructions, ensuring compliance with data protection laws such as GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and other global regulations. The role also involves managing records of processing activities, data inventories, and supporting documentation, as well as supporting privacy-by-design principles in business processes and systems. Additionally, the Senior Manager will handle data subject rights requests, oversee privacy incident and breach response activities, conduct privacy impact assessments, and support vendor privacy due diligence and onboarding processes.

The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in privacy and data protection, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries. A bachelor's degree is required, and relevant privacy or compliance certifications such as Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US, CIPP/E) are preferred. The candidate should possess strong working knowledge of global privacy frameworks, hands-on experience operationalizing privacy programs in regulated environments, and familiarity with privacy management tools like OneTrust. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively across legal, technical, and business teams are essential.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $193,770 to $227,880 annually, with the final offer depending on factors such as geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education. This is a hybrid role, typically requiring on-site presence three days per week at the company's headquarters in Redwood City, California. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
