Senior Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting - Enterprise Sales
Canva is seeking a Senior Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting - Enterprise Sales to join its rapidly expanding Revenue Accounting team. This role is pivotal in managing the complexities of revenue models across both self-serve (B2C) and enterprise (B2B) channels, ensuring scalable and compliant revenue frameworks that support new product launches, contract structures, and global expansion.
The successful candidate will provide technical revenue accounting guidance across B2C and B2B revenue streams, including new product launches, enterprise agreements, and evolving monetization models. Responsibilities include reviewing customer contracts and product offerings to determine appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606, partnering cross-functionally with Product, Legal, Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, and FP&A to assess revenue implications of new features, bundles, and go-to-market strategies, leading technical accounting research, and establishing and maintaining revenue accounting policies and scalable processes across the quote-to-cash lifecycle.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; a CPA is preferred. Deep technical expertise in revenue recognition under ASC 606 (US GAAP) across both high-volume B2C and complex B2B arrangements is essential. Experience with technical accounting research, policy development, supporting new product or pricing initiatives, and working in a public company or SOX-compliant environment is highly desirable. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive practical solutions in a fast-paced environment are also required.
