Senior Paralegal
Golden State is seeking a Senior Paralegal to join its Business & Legal Affairs team in San Francisco, CA. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic sports and entertainment organization by providing comprehensive paralegal support across various legal functions. The position reports directly to the Chief Legal Officer and Deputy General Counsel.
In this role, the Senior Paralegal will be responsible for assisting with litigation, corporate, and commercial matters, including contract and template drafting. The position also involves implementing and overseeing the legal department's technology suite, with a focus on integrating AI-driven processes. Additional duties include assisting in the formation of new legal entities, managing legal holds using e-discovery software, and supporting internal and external counsel in preparation for various legal proceedings.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, with a preference for paralegal certification and a current Notary Public certificate. A minimum of 5 years of paralegal experience in a law firm or in-house corporate setting is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal contract management platforms, legal AI tools, and e-discovery software is essential. Strong interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, along with attention to detail, are crucial.
The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $141,000 to $149,000 annually, plus a bonus.
