Senior Platform Engineer

Fieldwire is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join their engineering team, focusing on enhancing the scalability and performance of their construction management platform. As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the core infrastructure that supports Fieldwire's services. This position offers the flexibility of remote work within the United States.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining production services at scale, developing new features to support both internal and external customers, and debugging production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack. You will also work on developing seamless integrations between Fieldwire and external services and partners, improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes, and participate in on-call rotations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience, with at least 3 years of experience in a Backend role. Proficiency in modern web application development and relational databases is essential. Experience with Ruby on Rails or Rust, working on high-traffic web applications and services, Docker and containerization, and AWS is highly desirable.

Compensation for this role includes a competitive salary, with the estimated pay range between $145,000 and $170,000 annually. In addition to the salary, you may be eligible for a corporate bonus of up to 30%.
