Senior Product Compliance Manager - WISE Platform - Correspondent Banking

The Senior Product Compliance Manager for Wise Platform's Correspondent Banking team plays a pivotal role in ensuring that Wise's financial products adhere to global regulatory standards. This position is embedded within the Wise Platform Product Risk and Compliance team, which operates as the first line of defense (1LOD). Wise is a global technology company dedicated to providing efficient and cost-effective international money transfer services.

In this role, the manager will collaborate closely with product teams to define and implement financial crime controls for new Wise Platform products worldwide. They will monitor emerging financial crime typologies and regulatory requirements, ensuring that Wise's offerings remain compliant across various markets. Additionally, the manager will engage with partners to communicate compliance expectations and work towards obtaining necessary regulatory permissions to facilitate business growth.

Candidates should have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in financial institutions, fintech, or consulting firms, with a strong understanding of the UK and/or EU regulatory environments. The ability to translate regulatory requirements into actionable business strategies is essential. Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with product managers and engineers. Experience in payments or correspondent banking is desirable.

The compensation for this role ranges from £83,000 to £118,000 per annum. Wise offers a hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working from home. The standard working hours are from 9 am to 6 pm.
