In this role, the Senior Product Data Scientist will be responsible for translating complex business problems into clear, testable analyses, structuring ambiguous stakeholder questions, and communicating actionable insights to influence product and business decisions. They will design and interpret experiments, define success metrics, measure impact, and communicate trade-offs. Additionally, they will own end-to-end delivery of analyses and metrics for their product area, collaborating with cross-functional peers to scope, prioritize, and deliver insights that inform decisions.

Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in Data Science at a product-focused software company, with strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python. They should have a proven ability to apply statistical methods, causal inference, and experimental design to real business problems, along with excellent communication skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders and leadership. Experience leading technically complex projects with clear business impact and a proactive, resilient problem-solving approach are essential. A passion for mentoring others and raising the bar for data science craft across the team is also desired.

The cash compensation for this role is targeted at $133,000 per year to $159,000 per year in Denver, and $162,000 per year to $193,000 per year for San Francisco and New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
