Senior Product Sustenance Engineer

Eurofins is seeking a Senior Product Sustenance Engineer to join our IT Operations team in Bangalore, India. This role focuses on providing Level 1 and Level 2 application support for our business and operational systems, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance our IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving application issues, performing periodic maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with operational processes. The engineer will work with stakeholders to gather issue details, prioritize tickets, and provide timely updates and resolutions. Additionally, the role involves analyzing recurring issues, supporting incident and problem management processes, and assisting in implementing automation and infrastructure-as-code practices.

The ideal candidate should have 5–6 years of experience in application support and service desk operations, with at least 3 years as a Major Incident Manager. Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, proficiency in Windows and Linux administration, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure are essential. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are also required.
