Senior Professional Services Engineer
The Senior Professional Services Engineer at BigID plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment and integration of BigID's data security and privacy solutions within client environments. This position is part of the Professional Services team, which is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and support to clients, facilitating their adoption of BigID's innovative technologies. In this role, the engineer will work closely with client stakeholders to determine technical requirements aligned with specific business objectives. Responsibilities include planning and executing implementation engagements, deploying solution components, and configuring products to meet client needs. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth rollout and successful integration of BigID solutions within customer environments. Additionally, delivering training tailored to various audiences and working with internal teams to document product issues and enhancement requests are key aspects of the position.
Candidates should have 4 to 6+ years of professional experience in information technology, with at least 2 years in a customer-facing role involving product implementation and hands-on technical activities within enterprise environments. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline is required; a graduate degree is a strong plus. Proficiency in Linux-based operating systems, experience with RDBMS systems, and excellent communication and troubleshooting skills are essential. Additional experience with container frameworks, no-SQL data stores, and enterprise security products is advantageous.
