Sr. Services Delivery Engineer
BigID is seeking a Senior Services Delivery Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Services team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful setup, integration, deployment, and adoption of BigID's platform for our customers and implementation partners. The focus is on delivering ongoing, incremental value by unlocking BigID-related use cases and addressing deployment challenges to ensure customer success.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to determine technical requirements aligned with specific business objectives. You will plan and execute implementation engagements, deploy solution components, and participate in product configuration efforts to meet clients' unique needs. Engaging with multidisciplinary internal and client teams, you will ensure the smooth rollout of BigID solutions and their successful integration within customers' environments. Additionally, you will deliver training tailored to various audiences and work with our Engineering and Product Management teams to document product issues, enhancement requests, and potential implementation improvements.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in information technology, with a focus on customer-facing roles involving product implementation and hands-on technical activities within enterprise environments. You should possess clear and concise communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. A proactive approach to understanding internal and customer business challenges is essential, along with experience in Docker and Kubernetes deployments, Linux operating systems, and cloud offerings such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Proficiency with databases like MongoDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, or IBM DB2, as well as experience with REST APIs and programming or scripting skills in Bash, Java, or Python, are also required.
