GoFundMe is seeking a Senior Revenue Accountant to lead the accounting strategy for GoFundMe Pro’s revenue systems. This role involves primary ownership of Zuora Billing and RevPro, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and strong controls across high-volume, multi-currency transactions. The Senior Revenue Accountant will serve as a key strategic partner to Product, Engineering, and Finance teams, shaping how revenue is designed, billed, and recognized across the platform.

Key responsibilities include managing month-end and quarter-end close activities, preparing revenue-related journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses. The role also involves translating accounting policy (ASC 606) into system-integrated logic in collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Data teams. Additionally, the Senior Revenue Accountant will provide technical accounting guidance for new product launches and monetization models, build scalable, SOX-compliant workflows, and partner with various departments to review and structure complex contracts.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including both public accounting and in-house industry roles with a focus on systems and revenue recognition. Hands-on experience with Zuora Billing and/or Zuora RevPro is essential, along with a deep understanding of US GAAP, especially ASC 606. A CPA or equivalent certification is required. Strong cross-functional communication and project management skills are also necessary.

GoFundMe offers a competitive salary range of $85,500 to $128,500 annually, along with equity and comprehensive benefits. Benefits include employer-paid premiums for medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching, generous paid parental leave, flexible time-off policies, and various mental health and wellness programs.

Joining GoFundMe means becoming part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to making a positive difference in millions of lives every year. The company fosters an innovative and collaborative environment, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
