Senior Salesforce Engineer
As a Senior Salesforce Engineer at VGW, you will play a pivotal role in bridging our product and engineering teams, translating product requirements into practical technical solutions. VGW is an interactive entertainment company that leverages technology and creativity to deliver world-class, free-to-play online social games. This position is based in Perth, where you'll collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to enhancing our Salesforce ecosystem.
In this role, you will design, build, and manage integrations across our Salesforce platform, working closely with stakeholders to solve complex problems and ensure effective implementation of features. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Salesforce components such as Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs. Additionally, you will lead or consult on complex engineering efforts, providing mentorship and guidance to engineers across the team.
The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the Salesforce ecosystem, with strong hands-on development skills in Apex and complex customizations. Salesforce certifications, particularly within the Architect pathway, are highly regarded. You should be able to translate complex technical problems into clear, practical solutions and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to manage dependencies and deliver solutions successfully is essential. Familiarity with modern Salesforce data and AI capabilities, such as Data Cloud and Agentforce, is also desirable.
