Senior Scientific Advisor - Biosafety
The Senior Scientific Advisor - Biosafety at Eurofins serves as the primary technical authority, providing strategic guidance on GMP biosafety requirements throughout the biologics lifecycle. This role involves collaboration with clients and internal leadership to ensure compliance and excellence in biosafety standards.
Key responsibilities include serving as the lead technical consultant for GMP biosafety requirements, covering cell bank manufacturing, characterization, bulk harvest, and viral clearance. The advisor will build and maintain partnerships with sponsors and CMO/CDMOs, positioning Eurofins' biosafety services as foundational solutions. Additionally, the role involves increasing Eurofins' industry reputation by publishing white papers, hosting webinars, and delivering presentations at conferences.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 10 years of directly relevant experience. A proven track record in sales for a service company in the pharmaceutical sector—such as CDMO, CRO, or CTO—is essential. Technical expertise in therapeutic proteins, monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), and antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) is required. The role also demands a willingness to travel at least 40% and digital fluency in Microsoft 365.
