Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack

Osano, a B-Corporation dedicated to data privacy, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their remote team. This role involves end-to-end ownership of significant components of the Osano platform, from initial problem definition with Product to deployment in production. The ideal candidate will leverage AI tools to enhance development efficiency and mentor junior engineers.

Key responsibilities include leading multi-sprint projects, designing resilient systems, and collaborating with Product, Design, QA, and Security teams. The engineer will utilize AI coding agents throughout the development lifecycle, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure privacy and security are integral to system design. Additionally, the role involves building observability into production systems and participating in on-call rotations.

Candidates should have over five years of experience in software development, with strong expertise in JavaScript/Node.js and React. Proficiency in relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, and solid system design fundamentals are essential. Experience with AI coding tools, mentoring junior engineers, and a commitment to privacy and security are also required.
