Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack
Tanium is seeking a Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer to join their agile development team. This role involves building and maintaining high-quality products, emphasizing a customer-centric approach to ensure products are designed effectively from the outset. The position requires a hybrid work schedule, with employees expected to work in the office three days per week.
In this role, you will collaborate with product management to design, develop, and test new product ideas from the ground up. Your responsibilities will include working on components such as a common data service to unify and consolidate endpoint data, handling time series data for dashboards and reporting, and exposing data through GraphQL to facilitate partner integrations. Additionally, you will deliver higher-level services that support various aspects of the product, including security, operations, and auditing.
Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for a Computer Science degree. A minimum of 5 years of industry experience is required, along with expertise in designing and building scalable, maintainable backend services and APIs. Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Golang (preferred), Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Rust, is essential. Experience with front-end technologies like React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, as well as relational databases such as Postgres, SQL, or MySQL, is also necessary. Familiarity with HTTP API design and development, modern software engineering tools like Git and Jenkins, and integrating AI tools into software development is advantageous.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $355,000, with additional equity awards and a comprehensive benefits package.
