Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure & Tools
Osano is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure & Tools to join our Engineering team. This role is pivotal in enhancing engineering velocity, deployment reliability, developer experience, and security automation throughout the software development lifecycle. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Product, and Security teams to eliminate operational bottlenecks and build scalable systems that improve the effectiveness of the broader engineering organization.
Key responsibilities include redesigning and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to reduce manual intervention and improve deployment velocity, building tooling and workflows that enhance the day-to-day developer experience, and implementing AI-assisted automation to streamline engineering workflows and repetitive operational tasks. Additionally, the role involves embedding security guardrails directly into the software development lifecycle through automated scanning and compliance checks, as well as implementing metrics and instrumentation to track deployment performance and developer productivity.
The ideal candidate possesses over five years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD systems, developer tooling, or infrastructure platforms. Proficiency with cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, strong experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, and familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS are essential. Experience integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines and strong written communication skills in remote-first engineering environments are also required.
