The Role 🥳
Billing for AI products is a genuinely hard, largely unsolved technical problem. High-volume event metering, token-based usage tracking, distributed workflows, multi-dimensional pricing - these aren't standard billing challenges, and there's no off-the-shelf playbook.
We're looking for a back-end leaning software engineer to step up to the challenge of taking ownership of our core billing and payments system. In this role, you’ll own the design, implementation, reliability and evolution of our systems, ensuring the company can accurately meter usage, invoice customers, and collect revenue at scale. This is a greenfield opportunity in a high-ownership, fast-moving AI company where you will own real systems with real stakes, and genuine room to redesign the foundations as we scale.
