Senior Software Enineer
Nabis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our V2 Platform, a critical initiative aimed at scaling our cannabis wholesale operations. As a key member of our engineering team, you will design and implement comprehensive solutions that drive the growth and efficiency of our business. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely, contributing to a platform that supplies over $1 billion worth of cannabis products annually across multiple states.
In this position, you will build full-stack solutions using technologies such as React, Node.js, NestJS, REST, and PostgreSQL. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable features, managing the entire development lifecycle from requirements gathering to operational monitoring, and collaborating with product teams to align on roadmap planning and customer engagement. Additionally, you will mentor team members through code reviews and technical guidance.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field, with over five years of experience in application development using React, Node.js, NestJS, REST, and PostgreSQL. Experience with Kafka or other data streaming technologies is required, along with proficiency in building service-based architectures utilizing Docker and Kubernetes, and exposure to AWS technologies. A high technical aptitude, ownership mindset, and strong collaboration skills are essential.
Nabis offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary starting at $145,000, with additional equity and bonus opportunities depending on job level.
