Senior Technical Recruiter
As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Lila Sciences, you will lead the recruitment efforts for engineering and AI/ML research positions in the San Francisco area. This role is designed for individuals who approach recruiting with a technological mindset and a focus on community building. You will utilize innovative recruiting tools, engage deeply with technical communities, and foster relationships through various networking activities to attract top talent.
Your primary responsibilities will include building and maintaining a network of software engineers and AI/ML researchers through consistent relationship-building activities such as coffee chats, warm introductions, and community events. You will develop non-traditional sourcing methods to identify high-potential candidates via platforms like X, GitHub, and open-source communities. Additionally, you will create and refine recruiting workflows and tools to enhance candidate discovery and engagement, and collaborate closely with the Senior Technical Sourcer to ensure a high-quality candidate experience from initial contact through to hiring.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting within highly technical or specialized environments. A proven track record of sourcing talent through high-signal technical channels beyond conventional databases is essential. Strong relationship management skills, demonstrated success in recruiting for software engineering and AI/ML research roles, and hands-on experience with recruiting tools and workflows are required.
