Senior Video Editor

As a Senior Video Editor at Headout, you will lead the creation of compelling video content that enhances our brand's storytelling across various platforms. This role is integral to our marketing team, contributing to our mission of connecting people with exceptional real-life experiences worldwide.

Your primary responsibilities will include transforming raw footage into engaging narratives suitable for platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and our website. Collaborating closely with scriptwriters and editors, you will craft stories that resonate with our diverse audience. Staying abreast of design, video, and social media trends, you will innovate and elevate our creative output.

The ideal candidate will possess expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with strong skills in Photoshop and Illustrator. A solid background in color grading and sound design is essential, with experience in DaVinci Resolve considered a plus. You should have 1-5 years of professional video editing experience, showcasing a portfolio that demonstrates your ability to create compelling narratives. Strong knowledge and application of motion graphics are a must. Leadership qualities, including initiative and accountability, are important, and experience in mentoring or managing teammates is advantageous.
