The Senior Workplace Coordinator at Graphcore in Bengaluru is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of workplace infrastructure, ensuring that all building systems function efficiently, safely, and reliably. This role involves managing HVAC systems, including chillers and air handling units, as well as electrical panels and Building Management Systems (BMS). The position is integral to supporting uninterrupted business operations and maintaining a conducive work environment.
Key responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining HVAC systems, operating and monitoring the BMS for alarms and equipment performance, and inspecting electrical panels and UPS systems. The coordinator plans and executes preventive maintenance schedules, coordinates breakdown maintenance with vendors, and supervises facility contractors to ensure compliance with safety procedures. Additionally, the role involves ensuring workplace safety and compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations, as well as maintaining maintenance logs and asset registers.
Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with 5–8 years of experience in technical facilities management, particularly in commercial buildings, data centers, or corporate workplaces. Experience with HVAC systems, BMS operations, and electrical infrastructure is preferred. Strong skills in vendor management, team coordination, problem-solving, communication, time management, incident management, and customer service orientation are essential.
