Server CPU Hardware Systems Lead - US
Graphcore is seeking a Lead System Engineer to oversee the validation of compute blade and rack systems for AI applications. This role is based in Austin, Texas, and involves leading a team in system enablement, validation, and debugging of ARM-based AI compute racks and blades. The position offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
As the Server CPU Hardware Systems Lead, you will be responsible for driving system enablement, including first silicon and firmware integration, to ensure system capabilities align with architectural specifications. You will develop and implement validation methodologies, create test plans, and lead the execution of tests for key components such as CPU, GPU, memory, and I/O. Additionally, you will triage and resolve issues during server rack validation, post-silicon validation, and production phases, ensuring timely and high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in validation roles involving first silicon and system bring-up, with a strong understanding of ARM CPU or x86 architecture, SoC design, memory, RAS, and power management. Proficiency in industry-standard buses and their software stacks, such as PCIe and CXL, is essential. Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems, hypervisors like VMware, KVM, and Hyper-V, and development and certification processes for these environments is required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills are crucial for success in this role.
