ServiceNow Senior Developer(11 months Contract), Hybrid

Clifford Chance is seeking a ServiceNow Senior Developer for an 11-month contract to maintain, configure, and develop the firm's IT Service Management tool, ServiceNow. This role is integral to delivering self-service, automation, and orchestration initiatives within the firm's service management roadmap. The position offers a hybrid work environment, combining remote and on-site work.

Key responsibilities include supporting the service management roadmap by implementing self-service and automation initiatives, ensuring up-to-date industry knowledge, and scrutinizing change requests to maximize value. The role also involves maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the firm's service management processes, collaborating with process owners to improve requirements, and serving as an escalation point for complex issues. Additional duties encompass developing reports, performing system administration tasks, managing the ServiceNow upgrade cycle, and coordinating with internal and external development resources.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical development skills in ServiceNow, problem-solving abilities, and project management experience. Essential qualifications include ITIL Foundation certification and relevant ServiceNow development and implementation certificates. A degree-level education is required, along with experience interacting with global teams and a similar-sized user base. Proficiency in JavaScript, web design, server-side programming, and related technologies is also necessary.
