Site Reliability Engineer II

Onapsis is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II to join our global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This role focuses on ensuring the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Onapsis Security Products, which protect critical business applications for nearly 30% of the Forbes Global 100. The position is based in our new development center in Bucharest, Romania, and requires a hybrid work arrangement.

As a Site Reliability Engineer II, you will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, troubleshooting, and resolving service and product issues. You will collaborate with engineering partners to improve telemetry and automation, write and deploy software to enhance product performance, and solve complex problems related to cloud services and remotely deployed products. Additionally, you will participate in on-call rotations to address production issues and contribute to the design and development of systems that increase reliability and scalability.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with at least 2 years of experience in DevOps, Software Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python, experience managing Linux OS (Debian/Ubuntu), and familiarity with tools like Git, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes are essential. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for customer satisfaction are also required.
