Site Supervisor
Eurofins Grain Inspection is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our grain inspection facility. This leadership role is integral to maintaining the quality and efficiency of our services, ensuring that grain moves safely and effectively through the supply chain. The Site Supervisor will serve as the primary liaison between Eurofins and our clients, fostering strong relationships and upholding our commitment to excellence.
Key responsibilities include leading the day-to-day operations of the inspection facility, training and supervising Grain Inspectors in sampling, grading, and testing grain according to USDA/FGIS standards, and acting as the main point of contact for clients. The role also involves championing a safety-first culture, maintaining a compliant work environment, ensuring the accuracy of test results, and overseeing scheduling, timekeeping, and general site operations. Additionally, the Site Supervisor will participate in hiring, training, performance reviews, and team development, as well as conducting tests for moisture, weight, foreign material, damage, and specialty analyses such as mycotoxins and non-GMO testing.
The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma or GED. Strong leadership and team development skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities to interact effectively with clients and coworkers. The role requires problem-solving capabilities, a commitment to accuracy and safety, and proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office tools. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, performing repetitive movements, and occasionally lifting up to 15 lbs. The work environment is a temperature-controlled lab with dust and allergens present, and reliable transportation is necessary.
