Hyphen Connect is seeking a skilled SLAM Architect to lead the development of advanced autonomous navigation systems for our robotic platforms. This role focuses on creating innovative solutions for Visual-Inertial SLAM, dynamic obstacle avoidance, and predictive path planning to enhance robotic capabilities.

The SLAM Architect will be responsible for developing robust Visual-Inertial SLAM pipelines, implementing dynamic obstacle avoidance strategies, and optimizing algorithms for low-compute edge deployment on robots. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to align navigation solutions with overall project objectives.

Candidates should possess advanced knowledge of state estimation, Kalman filters, and factor graphs. Experience with ROS2/Nav2 and point cloud processing (PCL) is required, along with a proven track record of deploying autonomous navigation systems in real-world settings.
