SMB Account Executive (DACH) - German Speaking
Canva is seeking a German-speaking SMB Account Executive to join our dynamic Sales and Success team in London. This role focuses on expanding Canva's presence in the DACH region by engaging with small and medium-sized businesses, understanding their design needs, and providing tailored solutions. As part of a rapidly growing company, you'll have the opportunity to contribute directly to our mission of empowering organizations to design effectively.
In this position, you will conduct outbound sales activities to identify and engage with SMB clients, develop a deep understanding of their objectives, and present Canva's value proposition. Responsibilities include building and maintaining long-term client relationships, collaborating with internal teams to optimize the sales process, and meeting or exceeding sales targets and performance metrics. You'll also stay informed about industry trends to effectively position Canva in the SMB market segment.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record in outbound sales or account management, preferably in a B2B or SMB-focused environment. Strong sales acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting are essential. Familiarity with CRM and outreach software, such as Salesforce and Sales Navigator, is required. Fluency in German is mandatory, and prior experience in the tech industry or SaaS sales is a plus.
