As a Software Engineer - Apps at Headout, you will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and data teams to develop and enhance features on our mobile application. Your primary responsibilities will include building end-to-end features that have a direct impact on user experience. You will work with a modern tech stack, including React Native, TypeScript, and native iOS/Android integrations, to create cutting-edge mobile experiences. Additionally, you will be involved in the full engineering lifecycle, from system design decisions to refining user experience and app performance.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of experience in mobile app development, preferably using React Native. A solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, app architectures, and platform-specific guidelines is essential. Experience with native development for iOS or Android, state management libraries like Jotai, responsive UI design, and offline-first storage techniques will be advantageous. A curiosity for learning and strong collaboration skills are also important.
