Software Engineer
Armada is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to drive the design and implementation of our on-premises Compute as a Service (CaaS) and GPU as a Service (GPUaaS) offerings. This role is pivotal in building a robust and scalable infrastructure platform, enabling our engineering teams to efficiently deploy and manage applications. You'll be part of a collaborative team, tackling real-world challenges in a fast-paced environment and seeing your code have a direct impact on our products.
In this role, you will write, test, and maintain code for our edge cloud platform, focusing on automating the provisioning and management of GPU and CPU resources. You'll contribute to the backend services and APIs that power our compute offerings, helping to implement new features and improve existing ones. Additionally, you'll assist in diagnosing and resolving issues across our distributed infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance for our customers. Collaboration with senior engineers and architects will be key, as you'll participate in code reviews and design discussions to grow your skills in cloud-native technologies.
The ideal candidate will have solid programming skills in Golang and be comfortable working in a Linux environment with a good grasp of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. A strong desire to learn about cloud computing, distributed systems, and automation is essential. Problem-solving skills, logical thinking, and the ability to collaborate with a team are crucial. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required, typically with 3-6 years of experience for this level.
