Software Engineer Cloud EOS Team (Poland/Romania/Hungary/Greece)

Arista Networks is seeking a Software Engineer to join the CloudEOS team, focusing on developing innovative software solutions for Cloud-enabled WAN connectivity. This role involves working within a dynamic, high-caliber team responsible for the development and delivery of control plane, software data plane, and management platforms, including APIs and services.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing software components that facilitate automated networks connecting various global locations. The position offers exposure to a diverse range of technologies such as the Extensible Operating System (EOS), multithreading, multicore software forwarding using DPDK, public cloud infrastructures like AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as NFV, containers, network segmentation, virtualization, microservice architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform-based provisioning models.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and have a minimum of three years of experience as a Systems Software Development Engineer. Proficiency in C/C++ programming and experience with Linux are essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment are also required.

Preferred qualifications include experience with DPDK, software forwarding, DPI-based application recognition, QoS, secure communication using IPSec, and development experience in Python and/or Golang. Familiarity with the complete software development life cycle, strong debugging skills in embedded systems, and experience in network systems software development are advantageous.
