Software Engineer
Morgan & Morgan is seeking a Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brooklyn, New York. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable systems that enhance our legal services. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects within a firm dedicated to advocating for consumer rights.
In this role, you will be responsible for championing test-driven development, maintaining code hygiene, and ensuring clean architecture across the team. You will lead sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and drive incremental delivery with a strong emphasis on iteration and value delivery. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and implementing robust systems across the backend (Python/FastAPI), frontend (React), and cloud infrastructure (AWS). Additionally, you will set and uphold high standards for code quality, testing, performance, and maintainability.
The ideal candidate will have experience in full-stack development, particularly with React, Python, and AWS. A strong background in software engineering principles and a passion for building high-quality software are essential. Morgan & Morgan offers a competitive salary range of $145,000 to $165,000, along with a bonus structure. Full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package, including medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays. This role is based onsite at our Brooklyn, NY office, and relocation assistance is not available.
