Software Engineering Intern, Institutional

is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our Institutional team in Paris. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced engineers in developing and maintaining systems that support trading and portfolio management for our institutional clients. In this position, you will develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python to power trading, transfers, and settlement processes. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with senior engineers, product managers, and designers to build high-quality, reliable software. Additionally, you will write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, contribute to improving system performance and reliability, and participate in code reviews and team discussions to enhance code quality and development workflows.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Python in backend or web application development, including personal, academic, or professional projects. A basic understanding of REST APIs, databases (SQL or NoSQL), and data structures is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or similar) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Strong communication and teamwork skills, along with a proactive and positive attitude, are highly valued.

This is a 6-month internship based in our Paris office, with four days per week of in-person collaboration. Compensation includes a competitive full-time salary commensurate with experience.
